How it works

One link, fifteen per cent

Office Table is a next-day team lunch that offices order and pay for online. The hard part is not the food. It is being the person an office manager already trusts on the Tuesday they need lunch for thirty. That person is you, and this pays you for it.

I

You get a link

Your own code, on your own link to the menu. Send it, print it on a card, put it in a building newsletter, pin it in a Slack channel. Anyone who orders through it is yours.

II

They order and pay

They choose a menu, pay by card, and lunch arrives the next day. You do not touch the order, the money, the delivery or the complaint if there ever is one.

III

You get paid

Fifteen per cent of the food on every order that comes through your link. Totalled at the end of each month and paid in the first week of the next one, with the list of orders it came from.

What it actually pays

Real numbers

Fifteen per cent of the food subtotal, before sales tax. Here is what that looks like on the kind of order offices actually place.

One office, once

Thirty people, one lunch. You are paid a share of that order and it takes you a single message to make happen.

One office, every fortnight

The same team ordering twice a month. One introduction, paid on every order it produces for as long as they keep ordering through your link.

A building, floor by floor

If you look after a tower, a coworking floor or a management portfolio, every tenant who orders is another line on the same monthly payment.

15% of the food subtotal, before sales tax and before any delivery charge.

Every order, not just the first: while the office keeps ordering through your link or code.

Nothing to buy and nothing to owe: you never handle stock, money or a refund.

Paid monthly, with the list of the orders it was earned on.

No exclusivity and no minimum. Send one office or fifty.

Leave whenever you like. There is nothing to cancel except using the link.

Who you are introducing

A real kitchen, not a catalogue

The offices you introduce are not ordering from a warehouse. They are ordering from the kitchen that caters Miami private events, cooked that morning.

That is why the introduction is worth making, and why it keeps paying. You send the menu, they order, and 15% of the food is yours.

Questions, Answered

See the questionsHide the questions
What exactly is the 15% calculated on?

The food subtotal, the menu price multiplied by the number of people. Not sales tax, which goes to the state and was never ours, and not delivery. On a thirty-person order at $32 a head that is a $960 subtotal, so $144 to you.

Does it pay on repeat orders, or only the first one?

Every order that comes through your link or with your code on it, for as long as they keep using it. Introducing an office that orders twice a month is worth far more than introducing twelve that order once.

How is an order tracked back to me?

Two ways, so it does not depend on one. Your link tags the browser for ninety days, and your code sits in a field on the order form that the office can type in or leave in place. Both land on the payment record, so what you are owed is a fact rather than an argument.

How and when am I paid?

Monthly. We total the orders that carried your code in the calendar month and pay in the first week of the following month, with the list of orders attached so you can check it. Tell us how you would rather be paid when you apply.

Do I need a business, or a licence?

No. You are being paid a referral fee, not reselling food. Depending on how much you earn we may need a W-9 from you for tax reporting. We will tell you if and when that applies.

Is there any cost, or anything I have to buy?

None. You never hold stock, take payment, handle a delivery or carry a refund. If an order goes wrong it is ours to fix, and your commission on it is not clawed back unless the order is refunded in full.

Can I do this if I work for the office that would be ordering?

Tell your employer first. Plenty of office managers do exactly this with their company’s blessing, and some companies would rather the discount came off the order instead. We are happy either way, but that is a conversation to have openly rather than quietly.

What if I want to introduce a whole building, or a portfolio?

Then talk to us properly rather than just taking a link. Buildings and management portfolios usually work better as a programme, and there is a version of this for the building itself. Say so in the form and we will call you.
